The Internship Program

The Internship Program is designed to provide an opportunity for college students to gain supervised practical experience in the securities industry.

During the internship, the students are given the opportunity to learn:

  • Our mission, philosophy, and culture.
  • Business objectives.
  • Investments and securities.
  • Administrative, financial policies and procedures.
  • Planning, control, and performance systems.

Candidates for our Internship Program must hold the following qualifications:

  • Current student.
  • Completion of a minimum of two years of study.
  • Letter of recommendation from an instructor.
  • Completion of all application procedures and satisfactory background checks.

The Internship Program is structured as follows:

  • Eight to twelve week program depending on individual college and branch or department schedules (extended placement may occur if dictated by course requirements).
  • Placement in a branch or department which meets career objectives and company needs.
  • Assignment of a preceptor within the branch or department to offer guidance and structure on-the-job training projects.
  • Final evaluation to determine the student's performance.
